Low Light-No Light Shooting

Defensive Pistol 4 is a 4-hour course limited to 8 students designed to develop skills necessary to survive a low-light or no-light armed encounters. The course will focus on developing the skills and confidence needed to safely and effectively engage targets in the dark:

  • The physiology of night vision and techniques of seeing in the dark;
  • The meathods and use of hand-held lights;
  • The meathods and use of weapon mounted lights;
  • Movement and Use of Cover with a flashlight;
  • Position shoothing with a flashlight;
  • Shooting at distance with a flashlight.

Prerequisite: – Defensive Pistol 1 and Defensive Pistol 2

Equipment Requirements:

  • Concealed carry firearm semi auto
  • Strong side holster
  • Magazine Pouch
  • At least 3 magazines for the handgun
  • 300 rounds of ammunition
  • Eye and ear protection
  • Billed cap
