Close Quarter Defensive Techniques
Students will learn unarmed gun take away techniques, firearm retention skills, close range shooting from retention and shooting from multiple ground positions. Students will learn how to defend armed close quarter attacks utilizing armed and unarmed techniques.
This is a very dynamic course requiring student to preform hand to hand combatives, along with being physically able to get into multiple prone shooting positions and rise to standing shooting stance repeatedly.
Prerequisite: – Defensive Pistol 2
Equipment Requirements:
- Semi-Automatic handgun 9mm or larger
- 2 Spare Magazines
- Good quality holster, strong side IWB or OWB, must stay open when firearm is drawn
- Spare Magazine Pouch
- 150 Rounds Ammunition
- Billed Cap
- Eye Protection
- Hearing Protection
- Long Pants
- Concealment Garment
