Ladies Basic Intro to Handguns Part Two 5:30pm – 8:00pm
Ladies Basic Intro to Handguns part one is the prerequisite to this class and was designed to be the students first introduction to safe gun handling skills and the fundamentals of pistol shooting. Designed to be the sequel to the Free Ladies Basic Introduction to Handguns, this class begins with a safety review and quickly moves onto the range for live fire.
On the range and in the classroom the instructor will strive to cultivate a positive and encouraging learning environment while addressing all students’ questions or concerns. By the end of the class, students will have developed their understanding of stance, grip, breath control, sight alignment and trigger control, and be able to demonstrate the proper loading/unloading procedures for their particular firearm.
The primary goal for these two classes is to create confident and competent women shooters who can add to the fiber of Centerfire’s clientele and gain personal empowerment by participating in the shooting sports.
All range time and targets are provided by Centerfire.
The student is required to provide a handgun, or rent one from Centerfire, and at least 30 rounds of ammunition. Eye and hearing protection will be provided.
***NO LIVE AMMUNITION IS ALLOWED IN THE CLASSROOM***
