We want to thank all of our loyal customers for supporting Guns N’ Hoses in 2019. We are honored to be able to support such an amazing charity and want to share this thank you with all who donated in our raffle!
From Guns N’ Hoses:
In January, the Guns N’ Hoses volunteer committee met to pick our families for our 2019 season. We had 6 first responder families who were nominated this year which was a challenge since in the past we had never sponsored more than three families. We read their stories of need for existing medical expenses, everyday family expenses and even experimental medical expenses not covered by insurance.
We debated, we talked it through and we even made a list of positives and negatives. In the end we couldn’t turn any of our six first responders away. We felt that people and organizations like you would come through and make this year more successful than ever. AND you did! This year we were able to give each of our families $12,000. That is twice as much as we have ever handed out in the past!
