DESCRIPTION:This all day course is 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM \nThis class is for Kansas Residents Only – State of Kansas Curriculum \n\nThis course is developed around the State of Kansas concealed firearms carry instructional requirements with input from various law enforcement offices.  This course covers the Personal and Family Protection Act\, federal\, state\, and local restrictions\, and the laws concerning the use of deadly force\, firearm maintenance and safe storage\, equipment and ammunition selection\, proper loading\, unloading and shooting techniques\, and concludes with a written examination. \nBecause the class is based on teaching the laws in Kansas surrounding the justified use of a firearm\, it will be assumed that each student is already proficient with using their firearm. Therefore\, during the classroom portion\, very little training will be offered in the basics of firing a pistol. \nKANSAS RANGE QUALIFICATION: The fired proficiency portion of this course consists of 25 rounds.  The course is fired at distances of 3\, 7\, and 10 yards. \n3 Yards- 5 rounds\, unsupported \n7 Yards- 10 rounds\, unsupported or supported \n10 Yards- 10 rounds\, supported \n  \n***FIREARMS BROUGHT FOR USE DURING QUALIFICATION MUST BE UNLOADED (INCLUDING MAGAZINES) and CONTAINED WITHIN A HOLSTER\, CASE or BAG\, with AMMO BOXES CLEARLY LABLED WITH THE STUDENTS NAME. SUMMARY:Concealed Carry Firearms Course- KS ONLY 4/1/23
DESCRIPTION:This all day course is 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM \nThis class is for Kansas Residents Only – State of Kansas Curriculum \n\nThis course is developed around the State of Kansas concealed firearms carry instructional requirements with input from various law enforcement offices.  This course covers the Personal and Family Protection Act\, federal\, state\, and local restrictions\, and the laws concerning the use of deadly force\, firearm maintenance and safe storage\, equipment and ammunition selection\, proper loading\, unloading and shooting techniques\, and concludes with a written examination. \nBecause the class is based on teaching the laws in Kansas surrounding the justified use of a firearm\, it will be assumed that each student is already proficient with using their firearm. Therefore\, during the classroom portion\, very little training will be offered in the basics of firing a pistol. \nKANSAS RANGE QUALIFICATION: The fired proficiency portion of this course consists of 25 rounds.  The course is fired at distances of 3\, 7\, and 10 yards. \n3 Yards- 5 rounds\, unsupported \n7 Yards- 10 rounds\, unsupported or supported \n10 Yards- 10 rounds\, supported \n  \n***FIREARMS BROUGHT FOR USE DURING QUALIFICATION MUST BE UNLOADED (INCLUDING MAGAZINES) and CONTAINED WITHIN A HOLSTER\, CASE or BAG\, with AMMO BOXES CLEARLY LABLED WITH THE STUDENTS NAME. When the student arrives they will check in at the registers and leave their firearm and ammo behind the front counter.*** \n*NO FIREARMS OR LIVE AMMUNITION ARE ALLOWED IN THE CLASSROOM* \nThe written exam will be 25-30 multiple choice questions covering the material covered in the classroom regarding Kansas law and basic pistol safety. \nAll graduates of this course will receive a Certificate of Completion. \nCenterfire Instructors are certified to teach Concealed Carry for all residents of Kansas. \n  \n\nIf the number of Available Seats is zero\, then the course is sold out.\n\n
